School Flying Clubs
British Young Pilots work within schools supporting STEM departments with what our students describe as ‘the best school club ever’. We install our own SIM’s in your school and an experienced BYP instructor takes groups of students from age 9 to 18 for weekly lessons. All students will then visit an airfield (usually with their parents on a weekend unless they are full boarders) and fly a real aircraft twice per term - that’s a ratio of around 5 classroom SIM sessions to 1 real flight.
Town Flying Clubs
British Young Pilots run training sessions towns throughout the UK. Learn to fly in a SIM with a BYP instructor, learn about aviation, make friends and take regular opportunities to fly real aircraft. Students have the chance to fly a real aircraft every half term - That’s 6 times per year! Plus, you can get involved with holiday clubs and intensive courses in the school holidays.
Holiday Clubs
BYP run holiday clubs at airfields throughout the summer where you can receive training from highly experienced instructors. We offer a range of courses, join the holiday club mailing list so we can keep you posted as we add courses and locations
ONLine Flying CLub
Anyone, anywhere can join BYP’s online flying school. We have a dedicated online instructor providing training sessions to young people anywhere in the world.

INSTRUCTORS:
BYP instructors come from all corners of the aviation world. Retired military or commercial pilots who want to give back to the next generation, full time flying instructors who work as a BYP instructor alongside their flying job and general aviation or microlight pilots who have deep passion for aviation. What they all have in common is a love of the air and the desire to open the door to the next generation. All instructors undergo ongoing training, lesson observations and have enhanced DBS and annual safe guarding training.
The flying element is conducted by our own team of flying instructors in our own aircraft. We also work with a network of BYP affiliated third party flying schools.
